PUPFPJPIA Convention :D

Isang masayang yugto na naman ng aking buhay ang aking naranasan ng ako ay sumama sa kaunaunahang Convention ng ibat ibang PUP Campuses with their respective JPIAN delegates. It's worthy to be treasured!

We, the Bataan delegates are just 17 in number. Though, we are just some of many JPIAns from our Chapter who have joined the said event, we are still happy because we have gained a lot of learnings and happy moments during the Convention.

We left Mariveles Bataan at about 7 o'clock in the morning, making us arrive there in Morong at 9. We hurriedly left our things in the stock rooms and quickly change our clothes for the 1st seminar. We looked smart after all. The first seminar is about Financial Instruments and Audit Risk Management. Though, of course, I am just a freshman this year, I got a hard time understanding the topic, but I still learned some of the lessons that were discussed such as the difference between financial assets, liabilities and equity with that of the normal assets, liabilities and equity. Anyway, let us not discuss that further for that will just add boredom to this blog entry. LOL.

After the 1st seminar is the most awaited part of the PUPians who were already hungry that time. That is the time where the real beauty of the PUP JPIAns was showed for there were no more bored faces that can be seen unlike with that of the seminar time. HAHA

After taking our lunch, we went back to our assigned rooms where other delegates from other PUP Campuses also stayed. We are assigned in the room wherein we have to stay with the delegates from PUP San Juan, PUP Maragondon and PUP Lopez. The rest time is not that long for we have to go back to the meeting area for an EO CUP where we luckily got the title for the "CAMPUS with the least number of Correct Answers." Haha.

This convention is a joyful event actually. The first challenge, which is to stay with other PUP Campuses plus the 2nd one which is to fit ourselves in a room with 5 beds knowing that we are 20 in a room is added with another challenge, and that is to be in a group where you are not familar with your members since you will be grouped with other delegates from different campuses. Those challenges were not really difficult anyway, for as long as you know how to mingle with others, you'll surely enjoy it. Group 6.. that is the group where I am assigned. I met some of my comembers here who were really approachable. They were KUYA Baby, Joris, and Ate Rose. :D For that time, we were just set to meet but the actual challenge will happen the next day.

Despite the weather, another two sets of seminars were still held. The first one is about BIR TAXATION. It is a workshop seminar which really got all the interest left on my mind. I really have no idea on what is being discussed that's why I came up getting my pentelpen and extra papers and there I wrote a lot about what I felt during that seminar. Hahaha. A dinner was made first before another seminar. The last seminar for that day is the Leadership Training Seminar and since I have already drained all of my interest for that day, I came up going to my room and sleep. Hahaha. It was about 1 am when the FED officers woke us up and told us that another event is about to be made. The last thing that I remembered doing that night is to watch Mr and Ms PUP Tribe but I didn't finish it at all. I end u going to my room again and took a sleep again.

It was already 7am that time when I woke up. I took my breakfast and brushed my teeth. After our breakfast, we were called again by the PUP FED officers and told us to be ready for the team building that will be done by different groups. We hurriedly responded.

The first challenge is to have a formation inside a circle where we should have our 4 hands, 2 knees and 1 head in the sand. We accomplished it in just a minute. The next is to go near the seashore. Our 2 members were held together using strings which are knotted to bind them up. The challenge is for us to separate the two without removing the knot. After 15 minutes, we end up laughing because we were unable to solve the challenge. The third challenge is to go to the swimming pool and search for 5 rocks with stars on it. It was the easiest challenge for us, I think, for we have a lot of swimmers in our group. The next stop is the Adventure Park. |the Adventure Park consists of 5 challenges. Those were to pass through a clinging rope, to pass the man made lake with the use of a raft, to climb up a wooden form, to pass the tire challenge and to climb up the rope form. The last challenge was then given and that is to fill the bottle with seawater with just the use of our clothes and to form a 3layer pyramid while singing Imno ng PUP. Though we were unable to be on the Top 3, we are still proud because out of the 15 groups, we ranked 5. :D

For the last part of the convention, we just took our lunch and packed our things.

That ended the convention. :D
