May 21 - End of the World?

I got many problems in this world but what makes it worse s when a news - "End of the World" was delivered by a broadcaster in television.

According to the news, a religious group from America said that the coming rapture or end of the world will come on May 21, 2011 at exactly 6:00 in the afternoon. Actually at first I am just laughing with this kind of thing - I am even saying "Seriously? Hahaha. Those people were just joking and for sure, they will be ashamed for what they have done when everything will be normal that day". That time, I just slept without anything on my mind that can bother me.

May 21, 2011 - I am still calm and still smiling. I didn't even think of a possibility that the said happening will come but because of curiosity, I waited for a signal to come. - that time, I am actually calling myself crazy for doing such stuff. At about 4:00 in the afternoon a t.v. documentary named "GUNAW" was aired on t.v. and it tackles all of the possibilities and signs that we will all vanish very soon.

The following are just some of what the documentary states:

  • March 16, 2011 up to March 16, 2012 will be the date when the Rapture will happen and 7 months after this year's month of March, massive earthquakes will hit the Philippines - there will be shaking anywhere even on land and in water.

  • There was once a time when Mary showed up to three children and told them that Christ is not happy for what we, people are doing. Mary even told them 3 secrets. At first when the children told the public that they have seen Mary, no one believed them and that was the time when they went to Rome. The pope then revealed the first secret. It states that there will be a time when the sun will dance to remind people about their sins - and that happened thousands of years ago. The next secret was revealed also - it says that there will also be lots of earthquakes anywhere in the world like that of what happened in Spain, Haiti and Japan. The third secret is not yet revealed and was kept secretly by the Rome yet issues were seen on the internet saying that there will be an influential person in the world who will be killed. The supporters of the killed person will take revenge to a leader of a well known country . There will be wars anywhere - and that will be the start of the World War III.

This situation is connected to what happened to Osama Bin Laden. The supporters are the Muslims who will take revenge to the president of America, Pres. Obama. And sooner there will be World War III. Freak connection right?

  • There was once an Irish fortune teller who said that the Judgment day will just come after the death of the 112th pope in Rome died knowing that Pope John Paul II is the 111th Pope already - 2nd to the last.

That all bothered me - but still, I have faith in God. He opens my mind to see all the things that will help me strengthen my relationship with HIM because He always make sure that wherever I'll go, through tears and joy, he'll be beside me. With all of these happening, I still remained calm and not puzzled because I have a shoulder to lean on. :]

Online gaming at chatting - ilan lamang iyan

Finally Enrolled

Before this day ends and before I completely forget all the happenings that I experienced for this day, I wanna share it with you now.

Excitement for meeting my friend Louis - my future classmate in BSA 1 made me arrive at the school at 8:00 in the morning. I'm with my friends then - Jeverlyn, Jerwin, Ira and a lot more actually. I got my number in the school counter, that control number will help the school personnel to at least keep an eye of what we are doing and to control the flow of students in the waiting are as well in the procession of enrollment. Out of almost 200 person who arrived there, at least I got the Ctrl No. 62 - not bad at all.

Problems soon arise when we came there. We have to photocopy some of our requirements and it almost wasted our time and energy. At least there's a canteen down the school basement where we can eat and talk to relieve stress. We talked a lot actually - mostly about life's experiences during vacation. But we can't take the temperature of the atmosphere in the basement so we decided to go upstairs in the first floor so that we can breathe fresh air before going to the counter. When we are about to go there, the staffs told us that the enrollment will be resumed at 1:30 in the afternoon.

At about 1:45 in the afternoon, a staff which is responsible for checking all the student's requirements announced that there will be a slow procession of enrollment because the website of the PUP is having a technical problem. We waited still. We didn't even lose hope that the cut-off of the number of the students that they can entertain will soon be announced. We waited until I'm called.

I passed all my papers. The staff checked it and I got no problem. A few minutes later, I was called again - I already have my grades, course and schedule submitted to the main school in PUP Sta. Mesa Manila. I quickly get my paper and went to the Director's office for some questions regarding NSTP and tuition fee. I was also asked to get my uniform size so that I could already pay for it.

Downstairs is the Cashier where we will take our P.E. uniform sizes and at the same time, pay for our tuition fee. The last step is to go to the Student Council's office and pa for the council fee. After receiving the receipt for it, I smiled and I told myself "You're finally enrolled."

Back to the line where my friends are still waiting: I still didn't go home for I love them and I'll wait for them till they got finished. And so, even that my friend is the last student to be enrolled for that day, I still waited for him.

7:00 in the evening. The weather was fine and the wind was cold. We walked downhills just to ride in a jeep because all of the jeeps in the waiting area were gone when we got there.

Even though, I got tired the whole day for that very unforgettable enrollment and the fact that I was unable to meet Louise, I am still happy because I am with my friends and that MOMENT that we have shared is PRICELESS. :]

WHY GOD ALLOWS PAIN?

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering...

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:

"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.

Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?

Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.

I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:

"You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.

"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed.

"Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."

"Exactly!" affirmed the customer.

"That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!

That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.

BE BLESSED & BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS !!!!

Impressive Question and Answer

Below is the Interview Question, which was asked in HR Round

Be careful while you answering, No one will GET second chance to impress…

Very very Impressive Question and Answer

Question :You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, it’s raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for a bus:

* An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.

* An old friend who once saved your life.

* The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing very well that there could only be one passenger in your car?

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

* You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first;

* or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to ! pay him back.

* However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. Guess what was his answer?

He simply answered:

“I would give the car keys to my Old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of mydreams.”

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought limitations.

Never forget to “Think Outside the Box.”

PUPian Wannabe!

Choosing a course to be taken for college and the school to enter doesn't just require a little time - you must pay a lot of time and attention for this decision making.

This 2011 is the year that I have to enter college. A year before, I decided to take Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the well known state university in the nearest city from our town - the Bataan Peninsula State University but even though I have already planned many things just to study there, still I am helpless in the face of the Destiny.

Two months before the date of taking the entrance examination of BPSU, I talked to my mom and asked her to give me some money as an examination fee of the said BPSUCET but she refused and told me to take the entrance examination of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines instead. Though, it's hard for me to accept the fact that I will not be able to study in my dream school... I still accepted it.

I chose BS Accountancy as my course to be taken in PUP. PUPCET, the examination for admission in PUP came. I got hard time in answering Vocabulary in English and General Information questions while I effortlessly answered questions in Numerical and Scientic Ability tests.

Two weeks after, the result of the PUPCET was already posted online and luckily I was announced to be the 4th highest scorer of the said examination out of all the 2000 takers. After that, I already accepted wholeheartedly that...
After being a PUPian Wannabe... I am a true PUPian already!!
