Finally Enrolled

Before this day ends and before I completely forget all the happenings that I experienced for this day, I wanna share it with you now.

Excitement for meeting my friend Louis - my future classmate in BSA 1 made me arrive at the school at 8:00 in the morning. I'm with my friends then - Jeverlyn, Jerwin, Ira and a lot more actually. I got my number in the school counter, that control number will help the school personnel to at least keep an eye of what we are doing and to control the flow of students in the waiting are as well in the procession of enrollment. Out of almost 200 person who arrived there, at least I got the Ctrl No. 62 - not bad at all.

Problems soon arise when we came there. We have to photocopy some of our requirements and it almost wasted our time and energy. At least there's a canteen down the school basement where we can eat and talk to relieve stress. We talked a lot actually - mostly about life's experiences during vacation. But we can't take the temperature of the atmosphere in the basement so we decided to go upstairs in the first floor so that we can breathe fresh air before going to the counter. When we are about to go there, the staffs told us that the enrollment will be resumed at 1:30 in the afternoon.

At about 1:45 in the afternoon, a staff which is responsible for checking all the student's requirements announced that there will be a slow procession of enrollment because the website of the PUP is having a technical problem. We waited still. We didn't even lose hope that the cut-off of the number of the students that they can entertain will soon be announced. We waited until I'm called.

I passed all my papers. The staff checked it and I got no problem. A few minutes later, I was called again - I already have my grades, course and schedule submitted to the main school in PUP Sta. Mesa Manila. I quickly get my paper and went to the Director's office for some questions regarding NSTP and tuition fee. I was also asked to get my uniform size so that I could already pay for it.

Downstairs is the Cashier where we will take our P.E. uniform sizes and at the same time, pay for our tuition fee. The last step is to go to the Student Council's office and pa for the council fee. After receiving the receipt for it, I smiled and I told myself "You're finally enrolled."

Back to the line where my friends are still waiting: I still didn't go home for I love them and I'll wait for them till they got finished. And so, even that my friend is the last student to be enrolled for that day, I still waited for him.

7:00 in the evening. The weather was fine and the wind was cold. We walked downhills just to ride in a jeep because all of the jeeps in the waiting area were gone when we got there.

Even though, I got tired the whole day for that very unforgettable enrollment and the fact that I was unable to meet Louise, I am still happy because I am with my friends and that MOMENT that we have shared is PRICELESS. :]
