My most unforgettable day of my life is when the barkada unwinded from stress brought by different activities in school. We decided to have a team building by means of a day out experience. That day out brought me so much fun and learning at the same. We decided to be in the Villa Imperial Resort at noon. We rode a hired jeepney since we have lots of foods and bags to bring. We arrived there at past noon. We started cooking some foods first while others are already enjoying the cold water in the pool. We did not let any minute of the day to pass by without putting a smile in each other’s faces. When the food was already cooked, Ma’am Joyce, our close friend, who is also a teacher of a science subject in our high school, called us for the team building. She prepared some questions for us to answer such as “How do you see yourself ten years from now?” and “What is your problem in your life and what are the actions that you are doing in order for you to forget this problems?”. We are then scattered in the resort for us to keep ourselves from looking at each other’s paper. After ten minutes, we are called back to find an area where we can speak out all of what we have written. Each members of the barkada told something about their ambitions and problems at the same time. Some smiled and even laughed with our answers but most of us cried. The last person who red what she has written is Ma’am Joyce. At first, we laughed aloud since she cracked some jokes intentionally to break the silence because we are all focusing to what she is saying but a few minutes after, those smiles faded. She was already saying the first three sentences that she has written when a tear fall from my eyes and when I looked at my friend’s faces, I saw them crying too. Only then when we found out that the reason why she planned for a team building is because she has something to tell us. She told us that she has a serious health problem and it is not just a normal disease that a person can get. We end up that team building with swollen and red eyes. After the team building, we went back to our cottage and eat the foods that we have cooked. Ma’am Joyce told us that we should not be sad but instead we should cherish all the happy moments of barkada. After the day, we went back to our own houses with a smile on our faces because letting ourselves frown will just show that we are weaker than our friend, Ma’am Joyce.
